About Trina

Rooted in Austin
Trina Crumpton has a heart for service. My journey into public service started early, raising funds for children with special needs and young parents. Over the years, I've served overseas with the Red Cross, assisted military families, and contributed to causes through marathons and community runs by participating and organizing them. Since 2018, I've proudly served on Austin's park committee, and since 2022, I've led it as Chair. I've seen firsthand what's possible when neighbors come together with shared values, a clear vision, and a willingness to roll up their sleeves. Now, I'm ready to lead those efforts from City Hall.
As a small business owner, Trina learned to make a budget work, to answer for every dollar, and to keep her promises to the people counting on her. That same discipline is what she will bring to City Hall.
My commitment to service extends beyond my professional and civic roles. I actively serve within my church's ministry and proudly support two local charitable organizations through my involvement with the Sharae Jones Memorial 5K (10 years) and the H2Go 2-miler Fun Run (7 years). These events have helped raise awareness and funds for important community causes, including support for the Arkansas Alzheimer's Association. Serving others has always been a meaningful part of my life and continues to shape how I give back to the community I love.
Why I’m running“Austin is growing, and growth is a good problem to have — but only if we plan for it. I’m running to protect what makes Austin special--a safe, close-knit community with deep roots--and to help shape its future with purpose. Our city deserves leadership that listens first, continues to spend carefully, and keeps this a place our kids feel safe and want to come back to.”
